Den primär von Solid State Drives bekannten Benchmark namens AS SSD setzen wir auch beim Test unserer Speicherkarten ein, denn dieser eignet sich generell für die Performancemessung von Flash-basierten Speichermedien. Dabei verzichten wir auf die synthetischen Szenarien (ISO, Programm etc.) und interessieren uns ausschließlich für die sequentiellen Datenraten unserer Testprobanden. Gerade beim Kopieren von größeren Datenmengen bzw. großen Dateien ist diese Messung von hoher Relevanz. Folgend die Ergebnisse der verschiedenen Karten, jeweils sortiert nach lesender und schreibender Geschwindigkeit.
Zum AS SSD-Benchmark gehören ebenso drei Praxistests, bei denen folgende Test-Ordner erzeugt werden: ISO (zwei große Dateien), Programme (typischer Programmordner mit vielen kleinen Dateien) und Spiele (Ordner eines Spiels mit kleinen und großen Dateien). Diese drei Ordner werden mit einfachem copy-Befehl des Betriebssystems kopiert. In allen drei Praxistests beträgt die Größe der Testdatei 1 GB.
